Infinity Saga Marvel Movies In Order Of Release—Here’s How To Watch

Nothing can be as nostalgic and thrilling as sitting down and watching a Marvel movie series. The only thing that can match it is watching the entire drama at once. The Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America are three enduringly famous Marvel superheroes. Every single fan’s memory of them was irrevocably etched with the release of the first Avengers film in 2012.

Can you rewatch it all and still find enjoyment in it? Some fans say yes! Well, here are the Marvel movies in order to watch them all chronologically. Don’t forget your popcorn!

Phase 1

Phase 1 was such a huge blast of amazing characters. The first ever film to release was Iron Man. A character that put the whole Marvel machine into motion. The renowned duo appeared in the first Ironman movie, which was released back in 2008. Terrence Howard and Robert Downey Jr. Things soon fell apart between Howard and Downey, but we don’t talk about that.

Around this time, several of the best Marvel films made their debut. The movies with the most fans are The Avengers, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger. All of these films can be watched in reverse order after you finish your fun with Ironman.

While Marvel movies 2023 may be lagging, this was the golden era for the studios as many brilliant stars came forward and aced their roles. Black Iron Man suits were suggested as a change, but thankfully, the team stuck with the regular design. Scarlett Johansson helmed the role of the Black Widow comic book character, and the rest was history. Here are the films in list form:

Phase 2

The phase of sequels was Phase 2. Ironman 3, once again, became the movie that puts things in motion. It was the last film from the Trinity and much loved by all fans across multiple universes(understood that reference?)

The following films would be Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Thor: The Dark World. Iron Man solo films were coming to an end while Cap and Thor were just getting started. For phase 2, here are the Marvel movies in order of release:

Phase 3

Phase 3 marked the beginning of the end for the Infinity Saga that fans adored for so long. Civil War came out as the first conflict between Tony and Cap. Forces were divided, heroes scattered across the globe, and millions were left endangered because of Dormammu’s possible invasion. Things worked out but not soon enough. Here’s the order in which the final phase was witnessed.

Phase 4

Phase 4 was what remained after. It was the aftermath of Endgame. We were taken into the past to see Natasha Romanoff’s tragic story. A new world was brought forth for Shang-Chi, and old forces joined arms for Peter Parker’s new adventures. Some movies from Phase 4 were not well received, especially Thor: Love and Thunder, but things went on as they often do.

Phase 5

Phase 5 has started with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The film was not entirely appreciated too much by fans or critics. It’s been called mediocre on several levels. However, high hopes are held for future films like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Blade, and Thunderbolts. Here’s the timeline:

Phase 6

Finally, the future is also all here. The best and perhaps the most anticipated film in this list is Deadpool 3, which marks the return of Hugh Jackman as The Wolverine side by side with Wade Wilson. Wilson is much better known as the Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool.

Upcoming Marvel movies have nothing on all these absolute classics. Even all Phase 4 Marvel movies combined could not match up to the glory of this saga. Now, you can watch all these Marvel movies in order of release. MCU characters are now the new Shakespearean drama.
