The Rolling Stones is a band that has a legacy that spans multiple decades. First formed in London in 1962, the band had five original members, including Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman, and Charlie Watts. Originally, Brian Jones managed to find these gems of artists and put together a band.

Later on, the band began working on their own original songs, which shot their fame up to the stars in the coming decades. Unfortunately, Jones would go on to become a drug addict leaving the band on their own on many occasions since his ability to contribute was severely hindered.

Today, only Jagger and Richards survive as the only two original Rolling Stones members. Now, they’re all set to collaborate with another fan-favorite band— The Beatles.

Stones And Beatles

Now reports reveal that The Rolling Stones members have already begun work on their upcoming project that includes Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. McCartney, a veteran musician and Beatles member, is reported to have already recorded a bassline for the new project. According to Variety, the project is well underway and is ‘nearing the mixing phase.’ So far, McCartney and Starr’s exact roles and tracks are unclear. They may both appear on the same track or work on different songs.

Rumors also suggest that the album could use material made by late drummer and founding member Charlie Watts who passed away recently in the year 2021. This will be The Rolling Stones’ first album in 18 years. Their last album was in 2005, the hit A Big Banger.

The production is currently underway in Los Angeles, where the artists come together to work on their project. About involvement fo Watts’ work, original member Keith Richards said:

“Let me put it this way,” said Richards, “You haven’t heard the last of Charlie Watts.”
